A Sparkling Beginning

The legendary founder and patent holder of the Healtho formula, the late Mulla Akberali Adamjee Anjari, had a vision of serving people a cool, refreshing drink from his home. Starting in the 1930s, Healtho began as a hobby to complement his restaurant and famous cake-making business. As demand grew, the soda and syrup business flourished, and he brought his brothers and family into the venture, delegating responsibilities to expand the business.

A Family Legacy

Anjari has always stood for quality, resilience, and tradition. Through every challenge and change, the company has grown while staying true to its original recipes and values. Today, Anjari continues to uphold the integrity and vision of its founder, supported by family and loyal staff who have helped carry the legacy forward.

1920s

The late Mulla Akberali Adamjee Anjari creates the Healtho formula and begins serving refreshing drinks from his home.

1930s

Healtho soda and syrup gain popularity, and the founder involves his brothers and family to grow the business.

1950s

Sheikh Jivanjee Akberali Anjari and Esmail Akberali Anjari take over operations, continuing the family business.

1970s –1980s

Anjari survives severe economic depressions and policy changes while maintaining quality and reputation.

1990s–2000s

Hatim Jivanjee Anjari and Fakhruddin Esmail Anjari assume leadership, upholding the founder’s recipes and principles.

Present

Anjari continues to bring the taste of Tanga to every bottle and preserve its legacy.
